Here’s some pics from our first Saturday arvo at Stein’s Taphouse in Nuriootpa. Barrie Hocking and I are there for three more weeks so if you’re in the area on 11, 18 or 25th Feb drop in for a listen and a cold craft beer between 3-6pm.
Great night at the Publishers Hotel in Adelaide at a fundraiser against turning South Australia into the worlds nuclear waste dump. Thanks to Charles Maddison for squeezing me into a jam packed program!
Not only did I get to MC for the two fantastic days at Quorn but I got to play too! Thanks heaps to John Simpson and Dave Hughes from Outback PA for putting on such a great event!

I was incredibly lucky to host the generous story teller, Mike Roberts on 19 March.
Mike arrived with more equipment than Jon English’s sound guys carried in and went to work setting up for not only himself but his daughter and his friends. Mike had generously organised to share the stage with 3 other amazing artists. I had 4 superb live musicians on the deck in one night.
Mike’s daughter Rosie Roberts and his friend Sue Baker sang for us and they both sang together with Mike, giving us a truly incredible experience.
Mike’s friend Quentin Eyers arrived and played the guitar, the piano and the banjo and joined Mike in the second set. It was a night of surprises after surprise as more and more talent took to the deck.
The evening was filled with music and stories; humorous and sometimes serious with each adding a little more magic to the night.
Thank you Mike!
What a great opening night of the Fringe playing with Barrie Hocking to open for the amazing Kristina Olsen and cellist Peter Grayling. Kristina is such a clever, insightful songwriter, author and a very funny, kind lady to boot. Thanks to Cherie Harvey and great volunteers at the HATS Courthouse venue at Auburn for a terrific night. Great crowd too….thank you all!
