Really enjoyed playing for Beck Middleton and Duncan Irving at their Home Concert at Green Plains Dairy in Meningie. Such a fun night singing rural songs to rural folk! Played with Barrie Hocking and the producer of my album Quentin Eyers. Thanks boys!
What a great weekend at the Melrose Music Muster! Here we are in the main marquee at the Mt. Remarkable Hotel. Great sound from Outback PA Hire. That’s Barrie Hocking on lead guitar, Henk Groot on fiddle and William Keyte on bass. Thanks heaps to Anton Lundstedt and his committee for the invitation and to all those fans who bought the new album.

One cold night in December 1969 I sat around a table in upstate New York with five friends. We listened to a live radio broadcast of the conscription lottery of 365 birthdates as they were randomly selected to choose who would go to Vietnam. If your number was less than 195 you were likely to be called up, higher and you could ‘get on with your life.’ My draft number was 323.
